SOME  QUESTIONS  THAT  ARE  BEING  ASKED

It's always good to ask questions. And also willing to receive questions. The apostle Paul was always prepared to be questioned. He welcomed questions from the Jewish leaders, people in the synagogues where he often taught, government officials like Felix and Agrippa, and from people in the towns he visited. Asking questions and checking up on what we are being taught is always healthy. The people Paul met when he and Silas were teaching in Berea for example, were not afraid to ask questions. They also searched the Scriptures for themselves to check up on what they were being taught. As a result of searching and asking questions their faith grew strong and personal. The historian and medical doctor Luke tells us of their response to what they heard from Paul and Silas ...

That very night the believers sent Paul and Silas to Berea. When they arrived there, they went to the synagogue. And the people of Berea were more open minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul's message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to check up on Paul and Silas to see if they were really teaching the truth. As a result, many Jews believed, as did some of the prominent Greek women and many men. (Acts 17:10-12)

It was Peter who suggested that we should all be ready to give thought to questions asked. And to be ready with an answer. Or at least to be able to point the questioner to a source where they may be able to find answers for themselves.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience ... (1 Peter 3:15-16a NIV)

Here are some Questions that people are asking, along with some suggested answers ...
